10th Planet Oakland Represents at IBJJF Nogi World Championships

On December 10, 2022, 10th Planet Oakland proudly competed at the prestigious IBJJF Nogi World Championships, with a strong team of athletes showcasing their skills on the global stage. Representing the gym were Steven Saephanh, Jimmy Zhen, Michael Hillebrand, Christopher Clark, and Ricky Cheung—each demonstrating the dedication, technique, and heart that define the 10th Planet system.

A special mention goes to Steven Saephanh, our brother from across the Bay Bridge at 10th Planet Daly City, who joined forces with the Oakland crew to represent the strength and unity of the 10th Planet Nor Cal community.

Competing against some of the toughest grapplers in the world, these athletes carried the spirit of 10th Planet and put forth inspiring performances that continue to elevate our reputation.
